Cryptic Mutation

The cryptic Volbur has a black back that is really missmarked and not uniform. The rest of the body is covered in a non regular pattern, similar to merle. We were able to identify 3 different colors within this pattern. Cryptics have naturally strong colored yellow or brown eyes.

Regions

  • Red -  can be of any color

  • Blue - can be of any color, usally to mix well with the Red region

  • Green - can be of any color, usally to mix well with the Red region

  • Black - for a tradional one it stays black, but can mutate

  • White - traditionaly white, but can mutate

Genetics

The genetic alleles are labled as "CC".

Double Mutations

As the name says it, these mutations can only be achieved if 2 mutations are combined. Only 2 at the time can be combined, without counting the natural state.

Yes, the natural state gene has to be present again in order to express any of these.

If it is missing, it is considered an Omitt.

These are again only guides on how they can look like as fully doubles. They can slightly differ if one mutation is not fully active. You can read more about it here in "Natural State".
